Five Hundred Miles – Justin Timberlake

This song gets me everytime. I’m having goosebumps right now too……..

If you missed the train I’m on
You will know that I am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

A hundred miles, a hundred miles,
A hundred miles, a hundred miles
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

Lord, I’m one, Lord, I’m two,
Lord, I’m three, Lord, I’m four
Lord, I’m five hundred miles away from home

Away from home, away from home,
Away from home, away from home
Lord, I’m five hundred miles away from home

[Instrumental]

Not a shirt on my back
Not a penny to my name
Lord, I can’t go back home this ole way

This ole way, this ole way,
This ole way, this ole way,
Lord, I can’t go back home this this ole way

If you missed the train I’m on
You will know that I am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

A hundred miles, a hundred miles,
A hundred miles, a hundred miles,
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

  1. I’m not a Justin Timberlake fan, but he does justice to this song, which has been covered by hundreds of artists. I really enjoyed this song and the movie. Justin should try doing more material like this

    • I agree he did a good job, intact I didn’t even know he had sung this song I was searching for the older versions until I heard this one and loved it.

      • There’s so many versions of that song. His is really perfect, and the girl does well with the harmony. I wish he would do more of that music instead of what he usually does.

Thanks for Visiting .........
